About the Event
This small group based interactive seminar series is a 4-week introduction to the idea and the practice of mindfulness and the use of gentle movement to improve your wellbeing. Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment and includes a range of simple techniques that have been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and self-judgement.
In the workshops we will outline the many benefits of mindfulness and movement while providing you with an opportunity to try out a range of skills. In addition, we’ll be presenting you with tips around health and diet, and other gems designed to inform you and improve your wellbeing. The seminars will be facilitated by Glenn Cameron and Sharon Ereaux.
Glenn is a psychologist and couples counsellor with over 13 years’ experience in the field. He has worked in private practice and in a school setting so comes with a breath of experience helping children and adults with mental health, emotional and relationship related problems. Sharon is a mother, wife and Bible College student, as well as a Certified PraiseMoves, PraiseKicks & MIRA! Instructor, Certified CaraMayan Teacher and Nutrition Coach.She has taught locally and internationally.
